We’ve been specialising in Document Processing Services and Document Management Systems since the seventies.

In our early days, we provided specialist microfilm services to local government, construction and aerospace companies from our premises in Gatwick, West Sussex. We were early UK adopters of digital scanning technology and have been providing scanning services for over 25 years. During that time, we have added document storage services, online document hosting and in more recent times, business process automation.

1974

Our Reprographic Centre opened in a purpose built 20,000 ft² premises in Crawley, West Sussex. The business provides a range of Copying, Printing, Microfilm and Drawing Office Supply services.

1981

Richard Entecott (Managing Director) joins the business as Sales Director.

1989

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) service launched using Abbyy software.

1990

National supplier of microfilm services to MOD contractors.

1996

Reprographic Centre Ltd rebranded as Document Options Ltd to reflect the move toward document management and scanning.

1997

Wide format digital scanning service launched.

2001

Supply of document scanning systems and software launched with the first installation of 36 scanners at Eurobell.

2002

Christal V.S. Ltd acquired – Ashford. Kent.

2003

MA Associates acquired – Arundel.

2003

IBML High Volume Scanners first installed.

2004

Supply of document retrieval software systems with first installations at Inland Revenue, One Family and Gatwick Airport.

2004

A0 flatbed scanning service launched.

2005

X-ray scanning service launched.

2005

Kodak high-quality mid-range scanners installed.

2005

Secure document storage service launched.

2006

Invoice processing services launched.

2007

TMC acquired – Croydon.

2007

Digital mail room service launched.

2009

Fotofax acquired – Brighton, East Sussex.

2013

A second secure warehouse was acquired due to increased demand for document storage.

2015

Hughes and Armson acquired – Chichester, West Sussex.

2017

Budgeprint acquired – Hove, East Sussex.

2018

Intelligent Business Process Management service officially launched.

2023

ProScan Document Imaging acquired - Southampton, Hampshire.

Brilliant service. I had old slides that I wanted to digitise and the team made the process so easy. The quality of the end digital images is great, the scanning was very quick and there was plenty of options for getting the original slides returned to me. Very reasonable prices for a brilliant service, highly recommended.
